Confessions of a Post-Spiritual Maverick .... a sort of memoir

(November, 2011)

The writer is misunderstood.
He does not seek fame and fortune,
But communicates a deep understanding.
He knows that what he writes is not who he is,
Yet people accuse him of being evasive and dishonest.
They defend their opinions saying he is not looking deep enough.
The writer listens.
He reads between the lines,
Yearning for the separation to dissolve.
His eyes follow an invisible line leading nowhere.
“Why,” he asks, “do they not see all is as it should be;
“That every belief is arbitrary and divisive and separates people?”

The writer believes in nothing,
And no-one believes him.
He is utterly alone.
